Music For Maternity

A visiting lecturer from the department of music education at Palacky University in the Czech Republic will present two therapy workshops this week at Owensboro Community & Technical College. Dr. Lenka Kruzikova works as a music therapist for children with mental disabilities and children in high social risk situations in Olomouc, Czech Republic. She creates programs for mothers and their babies in maternity centers and lectures in music and physical education, music therapy and other areas leading to the development of the child.
