Music For Maternity

MASON CITY, Iowa – We celebrated the Grammy awards on KIMT Sunday night, so music is on everyone’s mind, but what if music could also be used as a tool for therapy. That’s exactly what happening at the Heritage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mason City. The senior center has developed a program called Intergenerational Music Therapy, and the idea is to bring two generations together, young and old, for some simple interaction that not only lifts the spirits, but works the mind.
